IELTS Preparation
IELTS or International English Language Testing System is a globally trusted English language proficiency test which can be used for both educational and immigration purposes. The test is jointly held by IDP: IELTS Australia, British Council and Cambridge Assessment English. The participants are faced with four tasks in both General and Academics IELTS tests: Speaking, Listening, Reading and Writing. The first two tasks are the same in both versions but they differ in complexity in Reading and Writing parts, meaning the questions are more complex in the Academic version.
PTE Preparation
In addition to IETLS and TOEFL tests there is another type of testing system called PTE or Pearson Test of English which is an unbiased test meaning it is a 100% computer-based and not even the test results are graded by humans. PTE or Pearson Test of English is accepted internationally by many organizations and academic programs and it also is approved by New Zealand and Australian government for all migration and student visa application. Another advantage of this testing system is that you will get the results back in approximately 5 business days and the PTE Academic allows you to send your results to as many institutions or organization as you want without charging you an additional fee.
Business English
In OSK, English has a vital preference. Variety of courses in English according to the Common European Framework Reference for languages (CEFR), IELTS and TOEFL preparation courses are offered.
The six levels within the CEFR are A1, A2, B1, B2, C1 and C2. Currently OSK only offers classes in B1 and B2 levels. Classes in Business English mostly aim to enhance the use of English in professional settings. The main focus of the class is on phrases and vocabularies related to the field of global business environment as well as on grammar. Some of the covered topics in the classes are Negotiating Skills, Phone Conversation Skills, Advertising, Presentation, People Skills and etc.
