Question : How do I know whether I need a Studienkolleg?
Answer: You can contact the DAAD representative in your respective country, your desired university in Germany or check on the website of the German Minister of Education anabin

Question : Are the courses stately recognised?
Answer: No. The courses are intended for preparation purposes for Studienkolleg solely. 

Question : What is the qualification of the instructors?
Answer: All the instructors have years of experience in teaching in their respective subjects in Germany, as well as with Studienkolleg topics, requirements and exams. 

Question : How can these courses help me with German education?
Answer: The courses offered by OSK are intended to prepare you online for Studienkolleg. To know more about Studienkolleg, click here or inform yourself at your desired university.  

Question : Is there any participation cost for the courses?
Answer: Yes, kindly check the pages of the individual courses for the prices or send us an email to [email protected]

Question : Are there any prerequisites to apply for the courses?
Answer: OSK does not check any academic qualifications of the participants. The participants should be aware of the prerequisites for state Studienkollegs, for which they are participating in a preparation course.  Additionally, as the courses are offered in German language, a minimum of B1 level in German is recommended. A solid basic knowledge in mathematics for T, W and M is also highly recommended. 

Question : How many math exercises will be solved in the live seminar (Musterprüfung Aufnahmetest)?
Answer: OSK will solve 1 own sample exam or mock test, which is similar to the published exams of the individual universities on their websites. OSK does not solve or sell any exams of the universities. 

Question : How many math exercises will be solved in the live seminar (Feststellungsprüfung Mathematik)?
Answer: OSK will solve 1 own sample exercise in an individual seminar, which is similar to the published exam exercise of the individual universities on their websites. 

Question : Can I take photos or videos or record live classes?
Answer: No, due to data protection and copyright policy, it is not permitted to take photos, videos or record (video or audio) any live seminar. However, participants can take important notes during the seminar and ask questions. Important notes can be sent to the participants through email if necessary.
